Market stable despite small fall

THE Dublin market stabilised yesterday as the ISEQ index finished the session with a modest fall of 7.29 to 7,615.83.

Financials were mixed. AIB fell 13.8c to e16, while Bank of Ireland added 24c to €12.04. Anglo-Irish was up 21c to e12.31 and Irish Life and Permanent continued the upward trend adding 0.81c to e14.67.

Construction stocks were down: CRH dipped 14.2c to €26.95; Kingspan shipped 58c to €15.17, and Grafton shed 6c to €7.95. McInerney also slipped 15c to €1.28 as 2.3 million shares changed hands.
