AIB weakened 7c to €20.20 while Bank of Ireland fell 3c to €14.97. Anglo Irish was the worst performing bank on the day down 18c to €14.49. However, Irish Life & Permanent bucked the trend adding 4c to €18.28.
CRH lost 57c to end the session at €36.24.
