UP to 40 jobs will be created by US investment bank Merrill Lynch with the development of a €30 million innovation centre in Dublin.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern launched the research, development and innovation centre in Leopardstown yesterday and said it represents the largest investment of this type by any firm in Ireland.

“It reflects strongly the forward-looking culture of Merrill Lynch, as well as a clear commitment to its expanding operations here in Dublin.
