THE Irish exchange was 43 points stronger after ending in negative territory every day last week.

Market regains some lost ground

The ISEQ was 9,178 at the closing bell.

AIB was 23c better off at €20.45. Bank of Ireland gained 22c to €15.05. Anglo jumped 32c to €14.80. Irish Life & Permanent declined 25c to €18.30.
