IRL to discuss rural access to services

IRISH Rural Link (IRL) is to challenge the view that access to services in rural areas is unavoidably set to decline.

The group opens its two-day annual conference in Cavan today. Expert speakers will claim that solutions for efficient delivery of services in rural areas can be found.

The conference will hear details of successful local projects, international research and innovative policy proposals to deal with service delivery in rural areas.
