SHARES in Dublin continued to slide yesterday with CRH and the financial stocks weighing heavily on the index.

The exchange closed 121.88 weaker at 9,678.98.

AIB was the biggest casualty among the banking stocks falling 51c to €22.57 ahead of its AGM statement due today. Bank of Ireland shed 18c to €16.18, Irish Life & Permanent lost 16c to €19.75 while Anglo-Irish was 14c weaker at €17.06
