The exchange finished in negative territory at 9,470.
AIB dipped 6c to €22.29. Bank of Ireland moved 9c ahead to €16.75 with over two million shares changing hands. Anglo and Irish Life and Permanent followed suit gaining 10c and 15c to €16.55 and €19.50.
