Greenstar to spend €100m on takeovers

Waste management company Greenstar is looking at various acquisition opportunities as it plans to spend about €100 million on takeovers before the end of this year.

The company, a subsidiary of NTR, is looking at ways to help it achieve its aim of doubling turnover to about €300m by the end of this year. A large refinancing deal was done last year, which saw the company raise €200m for its expansion drive.
