GROWTH in private-sector credit slowed again for the third month in a row in February.

Growth in private-sector credit slows

Central Bank statistics show the adjusted annual credit growth rate easing to 24.8% from 25.3% January.

This is the lowest annual rate of increase since August 2004 and seems to confirm the strongly emerging view that the housing market is slowing.
