FRENCH stocks dropped yesterday for a second day, led by Total as oil prices slid.

Oil prices lead CAC down slippery slope

The CAC 40 Index lost 72.07, or 1.3%, to 5,516.32, for a two-day slump of 4.3%. The CAC yesterday fell by the most in more than nine months, tracking declines in stock markets worldwide after Chinese shares dropped the most in a decade.
