Slow trading stymies market

THE ISEQ Index was marginally lower following a sluggish day yesterday. The Dublin exchange closed down 7.69 at 8,956.40.

Slow trading stymies market

Financial stocks were mixed. AIB was added 1c to €21.65 while Bank of Ireland was 5c higher at €16.65. Anglo-Irish gave up 8c to €15.32 with Irish Life & Permanent shedding 22c to €19.80.

In construction CRH eased 6c to €29.46. Kingspan jumped 40c to close at €18.75, Grafton gave up 7c to €11.35 while McInerney was 14c weaker at €14.26.
