European markets in strong show

SHARES in the Irish market rallied yesterday in line with other European bourses.

The ISEQ jumped 86.71 to 8,630.86

In the financial sector AIB and Anglo finished 31c and 18c stronger at €21.10 and €14.45. Bank of Ireland was 5c better off at €15.60. Irish Life and Permanent bucked the trend dropping 15c to €18.85.
