Employees expect to work beyond 65

NEARLY half the workforce believe that they will have to work until 65 and beyond, a new Standard Life Survey has revealed.

More than one third of adults think they will retire between 65 and 69, and 11% believe they will retire at 70 or older.

Although 48% believe they will retire at age 65 or older, the survey found only 24% of people want to work beyond that age.
