Coaching group wants accreditation

AN organisation representing life and business coaches is calling for the accreditation of its business.

The Irish Coaching Development Network (ICDN) have secured EU funding for this through the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

No common professional identity or certifying body exists within Ireland.

One of the main issues that the organisation wishes to prevent is that it anyone can set up a coach training operation without supervision.
