Market posts renewed gains

The ISEQ Index ended the session higher yesterday adding 24.55 points to close at 7,591.24. AIB moved 1c higher to €18.71 while rival Bank of Ireland finished slightly ahead of the previous day’s close up 2c at €13.97.

Anglo Irish inched 2c higher to €11.87 while Irish Life & Permanent remained unchanged at €17.90.

In construction, CRH dipped 15c to €26.50 despite advancing earlier in the day. Kingspan had a strong end to trading, closing up 25c to €13.50 while Grafton also gained, up 4c to €10.68.
