Hoteliers welcome tourism report

THE Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) has welcomed a report on competitiveness.

Areas such as taxation, marketing and training were highlighted as priorities by John Power, chief executive, IHF, who urged the Government and tourism interests to pay heed to the report in these areas on board.

The report Ireland’s Competitive Position in Tourism was published by the Irish Tourist Industry Confederation (ITIC).
