Merrion and Roche join forces for study

MERRION PHARMACUETICALS yesterday announced the start of an oral drug delivery feasibility study with Roche which will use Merrion’s patented GIPET technology.

Merrion’s chief executive CEO, Michael McKenna said: “Being in partnership with Roche on this programme is a significant opportunity for Merrion. We are excited about working with Roche as we believe they have strong competencies in development, and the commercial capabilities needed to bring new products to the market.”

The Dublin-based modern laboratories are fully equipped to carry out drug delivery research, and the Irish Medicines Board (IMB) licences the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
