Anglo Irish woos new customers

COMPETITION intensified for deposit account holders as Anglo Irish Bank has increased the interest rates on its range of personal savings accounts, effective from today.

Highlighted in this move is a new rate of 5% and a new minimum guarantee on its recently launched Regular Saver Account.

The interest rate changes include the Regular Saver Account from 4.5% to 5% with a new minimum rate guarantee of 4.5% pa for the two-year term.
