The ISEQ index slipped back yesterday mirroring the trend across European markets.

Market falls back again

The Dublin exchange closed down 113.69 points at 7192.12.

The banking sector was the major contributor to the fall in the ISEQ with AIB dropping 35c to 17.85 and Bank of Ireland shedding 14c to €13.44. In the second line Anglo Irish closed 30c down at €11.10 and Irish Life & Permanent also lost ground, down 35c to €17.70.
