Market falls back after earlier gains

The ISEQ index slumped yesterday, washing away Tuesday’s rebound. The exchange ended the session down 59.08 points at 7451.63.

The financial sector saw AIB shed 18c to €18.12 while Anglo Irish fell 16c to €11.92. Bank Of Ireland added 10c to finish up at €14.15 and Irish Life & Permanent closed in positive territory also, up 3c at €18.78.
