Nikkei rebounds

JAPANESE stocks jumped, rebounding from three-month lows. The Nikkei 225 Stock Average added 308.0, or 2%, to 15,907.2 as of the 3pm close in Tokyo, its biggest gain since March 9.

The broader Topix index climbed 26.75, or 1.7%, to 1606.01, advancing the most since April 6.
