Slight ISEQ gain on light trading day

Volumes on the Irish market were light due to the bank holiday in Britain.

The main mover on the day was Elan, adding 22.03% to 4.82. The Irish drugmaker said that its creditors again agreed not to demand early repayment of debt, allowing the company more time to file its annual report. This is the fourth time that investors have agreed to such an extension for the pharmaceutical company.
