Euro falls against dollar and yen

The euro fell against the dollar and yen as some traders pared bets on a further advance after the European currency reached a record high twice last week.

The dollar is down 3.6% in the past month against the euro on speculation the Bush administration, which has presided over record budget and current-account deficits, will allow the dollar to weaken.

The currency dropped to all-time lows on November 5, 8 and 10.
