Financials lose ground

The ISEQ Index of shares closed significantly lower than Thursday’s tally losing 104.40 points to 4037.34 points.

The financial sector performed very poorly yesterday.

Allied Irish Bank fell 50c to 12.65 as its main competitor Bank of Ireland remained unchanged to 9.80.
