BA wants talks with US airline

BRITISH Airways is looking to reopen talks with US carrier American Airlines with a view to forging a closer alliance between the two groups.

BA chief executive Willie Walsh told a British newspaper he wants to create greater co-operation on issues like ticket pricing and flight scheduling.
