Markets continue to languish as the necessity for a resolution on Iraq remains the key to market confidence.
Financial stocks followed their UK counterparts and performed poorly. Allied Irish Bank suffered the most amongst the banking shares-trading in light volumes closing down 35c at €11.50, its lowest level since September. IFG bucked the trend and recovered 25.7% from Tuesday's close to end the session at 44c.
