STRONGER economic growth underpinned by low interest rates and higher consumer spending is forecast by Davy stockbrokers.

Davy Stockbrokers note consumer demand grew at its slowest rate since 1991; investment fell sharply; while for the first time since 1962 the overall volume of exports declined as the global economic slowdown hit exports hard.
