TULLOW BANGLADESH, Tullow Oil’s locally-based subsidiary, is reportedly being threatened with expulsion from the country over environmental issues.

The company’s seismic study - investigating gas potential on Bangladesh’s lone coral island - was halted by the country’s government last month.

According to Tullow, the survey will continue even though it has had to alter the geographical areas. The company gained clearance from Bangladesh’s licensing authority last year.
