Good demand for mainline stocks

SHARES in Dublin recorded strong volumes yesterday with the main stocks showing good gains.

The ISEQ was buoyant all day before closing 5.11 points higher at 4524.77.

Ryanair took flight in afternoon trading. The stock traded as high as 6.90 before settling at 6.70, a gain of 20c. Grafton followed with a 35c rise to 5.00.
