Boston Scientific to launch product

BOSTON SCIENTIFIC yesterday announced details of the European approval for the world’s first next-generation drug-eluting stent system.

Boston Scientific has received the CE mark for its Taxus Liberté (tm) paclitaxel-eluting stent system.

The company plans to launch the product in the European markets and other key CE mark-dependent international markets.
