FBD an "attractive" option

FBD the only Irish-owned insurance company is trading at a discount, according to Davy Stockbrokers, who said it was an attractive investment.

Davy analyst Scott Rankin conceded that insurance stocks were not exactly flavour of the year, but was upbeat about FBD.

"We think a not-so-well-known Irish insurance company offers an attractive investment opportunity," Mr Rankin said.
