Report questions Irish wealth

IRELAND is not as wealthy as previously thought despite 10 years of unprecedented economic growth.

Claims by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) that Ireland is the top four in terms of living standards are way off the mark, according to the latest research.

The true figure for Ireland is closer to 15th in terms of living standards, figures released by the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) show.
