Oracle offers healthcare product

Oracle, the world’s largest enterprise software company, has announced the availability of the Oracle Healthcare Transaction Base (HTB) in Ireland, which will enable healthcare providers to improve service to citizens while saving costs.

Oracle HTB is a comprehensive data repository and service infrastructure that enables healthcare organisations to integrate disparate systems and create a central repository of patient information and clinical services.

Oracle HTB will be of particular interest to health boards and hospitals that operate across a number of disparate software systems that cannot communicate easily with each other.
