Economists anticipate economic recovery in eurozone

A CHINK of economic recovery is anticipated for the eurozone area in 2003 following two years of economic decline.

In a new survey, 14 economists suggest growth this year will pick up from 0.7% in the first quarter to 2.5% in quarter four.

Despite the rebound, worries persist about the zone's inflexible labour market while economic stagnation in Germany is still a dark cloud hanging over the entire region.
