Food companies enjoy success in breaking into supermarket chains

IRISH food companies are having considerable success breaking into top supermarket chains.

They range from the big players to the more medium sized firms serviced by Bord Bia.

In all, the State agency has roughly 250 of the 700 companies in the country on its books, all at various stages of development.
