FINE GAEL has questioned the feasibility of Dublin Airport workers owning a stake in the proposed second terminal.

Transport spokeswoman Olivia Mitchell said union ownership of the new terminal at Dublin Airport could be anti-competitive and not in best interests of the consumers.

“My principal concern is that the overlap of worker participation in both terminals - as workers in one and worker/owners in the other - could be anti- competitive and could lead to travellers suffering because of an internal conflict of interests between the two terminals.”
