40% think pension is insufficient

ALMOST half of those in a pension scheme believe that their pension will be insufficient to maintain their standard of living in retirement, while another 10% are unsure.

Significantly, 40% of those even in defined benefit schemes do not believe that their pension will be sufficient to maintain living standards in retirement.

This is according to a Standard Life survey published yesterday.
