Market shows slight recovery

SHARES in the Irish market recovered from the previous day’s decline although volumes were modest once again. The ISEQ index closed the day up 11.08 points at 6718.05.

AIB climbed 10c to €17.90, Bank of Ireland gained 14c to €13.10, while Anglo-Irish dropped 7c to €10.88. IL&P jumped 15c to finish trading at €14.85.

CRH dipped 2c to €22.70. Kingspan and McInerney ended stronger climbing 10c and 12c, while Grafton Group was 4c lighter at €8.96.
