Elan stock price falls nearly 12%

Dublin: Elan’s stock price fell nearly 12% , as investors continued to fret over the group’s plan to seek approval for a new share issue, traders said.

Shares in the embattled firm, which has been selling off assets and streamlining its business in a bid to meet looming debt repayments, were down 40 cent to 2.9 in afternoon trade.
