Bank staff seek 7% pay increase

Finance union IBOA, which represents bank staff, has called for a 7% pay rise over the next 18 months in the current talks on a national pay deal.

The union also wants a local bargaining clause to allow employees in certain sectors to negotiate further pay rises.
