Time to call a halt to the rip-off banks

IMAGINE you are one of the one million people who shop regularly at Tesco. Now imagine that once every year you are stopped at the door by a member of staff demanding €25.

The Tesco person explains the charge is a facility fee you have to pay for the privilege of shopping at Tesco.

Unthinkable and outrageous are two of the words that come to mind. Thankfully, Tesco does not impose such ridiculous fees, but bigger players in the economy do just that.
