Manufacturing prices climb 3.3%

MANUFACTURING prices showed a 3.3% year-on-year rise in February, according to the Wholesale Price Index issued by the Central Statistics Office yesterday.

Factory gate prices increased by 0.7% in February, compared to an increase of 0.1% for the month last year. The biggest changes came in chemical (up 1.1%) and meat products (up 1.6%).
