Eircom Net raise call costs by 30%

Eircom Net, Eircom’s internet service provider subsidiary, has raised the cost of certain calls to its technical helpdesk by almost 30%.

Subscribers to the Eircom Net service, who pay no monthly subscription fee, face increased charges of 95c per minute for calls to the 1550 helpline operated by Eircom.

Customers who pay a monthly subscription fee will see the cost of helpdesk calls fall from 74c to 33c per minute.
