Dublin gets 24-hour channel

DUBLIN is to get a new 24-hour local TV channel.

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland has granted a licence to City Channel, which will provide Dublin-specific information and entertainment, dealing with motoring, property, culture and events of interest.

It will broadcast on cable TV operator NTL’s digital platform.
