Tiger to return as economy fires up

Dr Dan McLaughlin said Ireland could look forward to a repeat of the boom of the late 1990s, although growth rates would be less spectacular than the 9.2% average seen in the height of the Celtic Tiger era.

Irish growth would be three times the eurozone average and double the American rate over the next five years, he said.
