Industrial production rises by 8.2%

INDUSTRIAL production rose by 8.2% between May of July of this year, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

However, the increase was driven not by the modern technology, but traditional manufacturing.

The CSO said, on an annual basis, production for all industries in July was 3.4% lower than in July 2004.
