EBS announce fixed rate changes

Building society EBS has announced changes to its fixed rate mortgages. All new rates, will be available to new and existing members.

The rates range from 3% for one year to 4.99% for 10 years.

Long-term rates were historically low and while there was an outside chance of a further reduction in official rates in the short-term, over the longer term, it was very likely that interest rates will begin to increase, the society said.
