EU report singles out Irish labour policies for praise

IRELAND’S policies to get people into the workplace have been singled out for praise in a major EU report on employment.

Irish unemployment rates are among the lowest in Europe though the report released in Brussels had some surprising facts on the burgeoning workforce.

Irish employees spent less time at work than any others except for the French, but this is reflected in their earnings.
