THE quality of service and the cost charged by Irish Stockbrokers has come in for stinging criticism from a leading player in the rival spread trading sector.

Trader 247 executive chairman David Butler said Irish investors should question what he termed the unreasonable costs and poor services provided by the brokerage community.

“A financial services industry debate is necessary to rectify the issue as a matter of urgency,” he said.
