Euro could rise to €1.40 against dollar

IT may be hard to believe, but following the dollar’s 21% decline against the euro in 2003, it looks set to fall further in the year ahead.

The euro could yet rise to €1.40 against the dollar.

There are many reasons to call for €1.40. Economic imbalances, an upcoming presidential election, the threat of terrorism and historical precedent all point to a weaker dollar in the year ahead.
